Skincare products that contain Vitamin C have been very popular lately, as it has the ability to treat many visible skin concerns. If you want to know more about this product, make sure to read the rest!
Most of my life, I have spent most of my time in the sun, because I used to play a lot of outdoor sports. Also, I have pimples that appear on my face consistently, which means that I would get some marks after I get a pimple. As a result of that, there are quite a few sunspots and blemishes that I have and are pretty noticeable.
Ever since I found out about this product, I’ve been dying to try this product out. However, I was hesitant to try it before, because I never thought that something simple like a spot treatment would lighten up my dark sunspots. But the results were very surprising, and it has made me want to use it every single day.

My Initial Impression
Before I opened the box, I thought that the product was very informative with a lot of important information and details with images—although it is a little bit overwhelming. However, one thing I’ve noticed is that everything is in Japanese so it would be really difficult if you didn’t understand it.
The only English translation that I see is “brightening essence.”
After opening the box, it surprised me that the product came out of an interesting looking tube. I really thought that the packaging was very good, because it was made out of aluminum which protects the product from the ultraviolet rays. I like how the packaging is very simple, and contains warnings and procedures, but I wish it listed the ingredients on it so I can easily check what it contains.
Trying out some product on my hand, I felt like the product was very interesting—something that I had never tried before. This product is a spot treatment and honestly I thought that this product was going to be more creamy, instead it was more liquidy and watery. The product felt a little greasy which was a little bit concerning, however after we needed for a few minutes I know I noticed that the essence turned pretty matte. My whole concern the whole time was if it would stay on my face in the area that I want it to stay.
Using the Product
So the product is very simple to use. What you want to do before using this product is to cleanse your face and use the toner. It says on the packaging to use 4-5 drops of the essence and put it on the desired area. After that continue with your other skin care products.
I have to be honest to say that I don’t know if this works very well with other skin care products. It feels like I’m spreading out this essence from my designated area—blemishes and spots—to other areas using my skin care products that are used on top. However I think that the product worked well regardless.
The Effectiveness of the Product
I used this product for two weeks every single morning. I think that this product has lightened my blemishes and dark spots but I think it will take a little bit longer for me to see better results. However, I am able to see a change which is very exciting and makes me want to continue using it in the future. Not only do my blemishes appear lighter but I think my skin feels soft as well.
The Pros and Cons
- Contains vitamin C and Vitamin E
- Product sinks in the skin
- Fast results (may vary for each person)
- Great for skin concerns like acne, aging, blemishes, enlarged pores, hyper-pigmentation, fine-lines, and wrinkles
- Mattifies after application
- Tube lasts for months
- Aluminum packaging for product freshness
- Lightweight and spreadable
- Runniness of product makes it harder to use
- A little greasy to work with
- High acidity may cause irritation for some people
- May not work as well for those who are tanned
I’m excited to keep using this product mainly because I do have many more visible sunspots that I would like to lighten up. I definitely think that this is very useful for all people even if they don’t have specific sunspots that they want to make disappear, but just for using older pimples or acne (scars).
Definitely if you are looking for a product that is going to visibly and noticeably enhance your skin this product is something you need to try out.
